We had quite a bit of storm damage recently. A better way tree care came by for one of our neighbors and gave us an estimate also. They were very kind and reasonable, and began work that same day. They worked very efficiently and quickly and left our yard looking like the storm never hit. We would highly recommend this company.

Very processional service and reasonable prices. I had A Better Way come and look at several tress in my yard, one I was trying to save but wasn't looking so healthy. Even though it reduced their fee, they recommended holding off on trimming that tree at this time and giving it a few months to try and grow back. They safely removed a tree inches from my garage and several large branches near my house and cleaned up the entire site when finished. Highly recommended!

Born and raised in southwest, MI, Brett is a graduate of Portage Central High School and Western Michigan University. With 15 years of industry experience combined with degrees from WMU in biology and environmental studies and a personal love of the outdoors, Brett prides himself in serving the Kalamazoo community via a holistic approach to personalized tree care needs.

Owner

Chase’s love for nature and being outside drew him into the tree care industry. Since 2013 he has served the Kalamazoo/Portage area with tree care services. Being a Portage Central High School graduate and a part of our local community, Chase holds a lot of pride in services rendered. 

David

David George
Owner

David is a lifelong Kalamazoo resident. During his 25-year career in the industry, he has completed numerous training programs that include EHAP, aerial rescue, CPR, and ISA. He also specializes in all equipment maintenance and operation. Pruning is a talent in which Dave takes joy and pride. He loves being outdoors and the daily change of scenery this profession offers.
